Recently, I started a project with some of the other Virginia delegate candidates to promote the 99D through the remainder of the state in order to provide as many representatives as possible, as well as to bring in as many voters as we can.
In the course of discussions with a few individuals and reading through assorted Facebook and forum posts, I would like to attempt a similar project on a national level, wherein each state has its own internal networking and promotion, but we all work together to spread the word to those communities currently unaware or under-aware of the 99D.
Think of it as working in tandem with the advertising the 99D is already doing, but with a more "boots on the ground" element.
It's not a project I would want to start or attempt alone. Virginia has been difficult enough and I couldn't imagine what trying to advance state by state would be like without additional support.
It's just a suggestion, but one that could work to our benefit.

I agree with you on the networking, Mark. I've suggested some time ago that each state with delegate candidates so far, should try to nominate or find a State Chairman or Coordinator who has the responsibility of making sure all districts in the state are represented.
In addition to that, we need to start "drilling down" to the ward and precinct level. I would encourage all delegate candidates to look into becoming a Precinct Committeeman in the precinct they usually vote in. We can't wait around for all of the dust to settle while people work out their differences here. The delegates that are on board already should be turned loose now, so they can conduct town hall meetings and do door-to-door campaigning and outreach. Waiting until there are enough "voters" or until there actually is an "election" would be wrong in my humble opinion.

It's Matt, actually, but I otherwise agree with the rest of your message.
